FAQ
Q. So what's the deal with "waterproof" - you say your bags are waterproof, but so do your competitors. You use different closures and different words to describe them...I'm so confused!

A. Well, the answer to that is simple - when you use one of our waterproof bags with our TIZIP, you can sink the bag to the bottom of the river and leave it there - as long as you like - and when you retrieve it, all your stuff will be bone dry. Our competitors can't guarantee that - and don't be fooled by their "dry bag" stuff - if you have to "roll" anything, you can bet money that it isn't waterproof.

So if you want to protect your gear and clothes from water, grab a GAIA Sports dry bag - there's no better way to go!
(In fact, our bags our so tight that air doesn't even get out...believe it!)

Q. What does RF stand for and do your bags use it?

A. RF stands for Radio Frequency - this is often used to describe how the seams on bags or clothing are formed. By using radio frequency, you mix up the different molecules and produce a much stronger seal than if you use heat sealing. So if you want a strong seal, go RF!

Yes, our bags do use it - in addition, we manufacture many other products for different industries, so you can be sure that we have the experience and knowledge to do it right, and that you'll get a great bag, every time.
